1. Introduction

HepFit ("App") is designed to simplify your personal training experience. This Privacy Policy comprehensively explains how your personal data, including sensitive health data, is accessed, collected, used, and protected. By using the App, you consent to the processing of your data as described below.

2. Data Collected and Accessed

To provide personalized workout recommendations, HepFit collects and processes the following data:

  • Profile Data: Training preferences, goals, fitness level, age, weight, and location/equipment preferences.
  • Usage Data: App interactions, generated workouts, and session history.
  • Health Data (via Apple Health & Google Health Connect): With your explicit consent, HepFit requests access to read and/or write health and biometric data such as Heart Rate, Steps, Active Energy Burned, Sleep Analysis, and Body Mass.

3. How We Use Health Data

Your Health Data is strictly used for the following purposes:

  • To power our AI algorithm to dynamically adjust workout difficulty and generate tailored training routines based on your daily condition.
  • To track and display your fitness progress securely within the App.

Important Data Protection Disclosure:

We absolutely DO NOT sell, rent, or share your Health Data with third parties, advertising platforms, or data brokers under any circumstances. Health data is never used for marketing or tracking purposes.

4. Data Retention Policy

HepFit stores your data only for as long as necessary to provide you with the App's functionalities:

  • Local Device Data: Profile and workout history are kept indefinitely on your device until you uninstall the App or manually clear the App data.
  • Cloud Account Data (If applicable): If you create a cloud-synced account, your data is securely stored on our servers for the duration of your active account lifecycle. If an account is inactive for 2 years, we will automatically delete it.

5. Account and Data Deletion Policy

You have full control over your data. You can request the complete deletion of your account and all associated data at any time.

How to delete your data within the App:

  1. Open HepFit and navigate to the Settings tab.
  2. Scroll down and tap Delete Account & Data.
  3. Confirm the prompt. This action immediately wipes all local health tracking data and triggers a permanent deletion request to our servers.

How to request data deletion via Web/Email:

If you have uninstalled the app or prefer to request deletion remotely, please send an email to destek@hepfit.biz with the subject "Data Deletion Request". We will manually erase all your identifiable records and health data from our servers within 30 days of the request.

6. Sharing with Third Parties

Your data is kept strictly confidential. We only share minimal analytical data (excluding Health Data) with secure third-party services (e.g., Firebase Analytics, RevenueCat for billing) solely for app maintenance, crash reporting, and subscription verification. We ensure these providers comply with strict privacy regulations.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13 (or under 16 in certain jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect personal or health data from children. If you believe your child has provided data, contact us for immediate deletion.
